Over the last few weeks I have been in 6th and 7th grade classrooms talking to students about the 6 Michigan Career Pathways, careers vs jobs, interests & abilities, EDP’s… I am hopeful that you learned more about careers and more about yourself! Remember, these might change as your interests and abilities change. Please feel free to share your 1st Career Pathway choice and a few careers from your Interest Survey.

I like to say that middle school is like a balancing act. You will go through many changes during these years; social, emotional, and physical changes. You will also find additional things that might ”weigh” on you (examples: homework, sports, peer pressure, relationships, bullying…). How do you maintain a healthy balance?

Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year! I hope you had a wonderful summer vacation! Like most students, you are probably shopping for new clothes, accessories, and school supplies.
